Brewster in Bloom - Parade & Social - Sunday May 7th 2017
There will be a group tour on the bay side of the Cape on historic and beautiful 6A to Bill and Mary Scott's home. Staging will be in the Sandwich British Beer Co. parking lot gathering around 9:00 to be ready to begin the tour promptly at 9:30 AM. There will be a brief stop at the #149 Old Barnstable Train Station to gather anyone wanting to join the group at that point. They should be there by 9:40 and should be met by the group before 10:00 AM. The tour will continue to head down 6A to Brewster. Once there, you can relax and enjoy a breakfast/brunch out on the sunny deck, sip a Mimosa and enjoy the morning before we head out on a short drive to stage the cars for the parade. Staging begins at 12:00 and the parade starts at 1:00 - Parade theme this year is "Sea Captains and Treasures.
Traditionally we continue beyond the end of the parade route to Luke's parking lot and remove the flags and club decals. We then head to a late lunch at The Marshside in Dennis at around 2:15/ 2:30 PM.
Hopefully you have decided to attend this event and that you have registered your attendance on the club homepage. It doesn't cost anything (except for your lunch), but we need to know how many cars and people are attending, both for the parade and the restaurant. If you haven't registered, do it now or contact me (Bill Scott) by phone or e-mail so we have a complete number.

Breakfast with Lemons??? Sunday, June 4th
What, you asked?
Why would I do that? ....Well, it will be fun and for a good cause. Good for us as a club, and good for the Lemon Tree Village and Shops in Brewster.
You know that a big effort is being undertaken by some of our club members to raise sponsorship money for our British Legends Weekend. The Lemon Tree Shops on 6A in Brewster are looking to raise an awareness of this shopping location and would like a spectacular showing of our British Cars to attract the attention of the many Cape visitors. The shops will make a generous sponsorship donation to our BLW event if we bring a good showing of cars to their shopping promotion.
We can even make this double fun. Les Frank has planned a breakfast run for Sunday, June 04th, meeting at the BBC in Sandwich at 7:30 and taking a scenic drive to the Optimist Cafe in Barnstable. We can all enjoy a great breakfast and then cruise on down to the Lemon Tree Village of Shops where we can show off our cars to interested visitors from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We'll relax and enjoy the June afternoon with fellow club members knowing that we will be raising additional money for our BLW event. We make the shops happy with the increased customer traffic and we go away happy and feeling good about a win win win: a good breakfast run, additional sponsorship support for the BLW, and a good day for the Lemon Tree Village.
Please consider this event, mark it on your calendar and PLEASE register your attendance on our home page. You may not be able to attend all of this planned event. You can register for just the breakfast run, or just the car display at the Lemon Tree or best yet, register for the full event. Whatever your choice, PLEASE register as we need to know how many to account for - both at breakfast and the Lemon Tree.

A Hull of an Event!!!
Saturday, June 24th, 2017, Ron & Kathi Garner, (our Morgan loving club members), have invited The Morgan ¾ Club and the CCBCC to a joint social gathering and luncheon at their home overlooking Boston Light in the lovely beach town of Hull. We can relax and spend time sharing car experiences with other car minded people and enjoy a bit of whatever the grill and coolers provide. Ron promises to have a gimmick rally written up for those who want to take a short tour of the outer tip of the Hull peninsula after lunch. Prizes? Of course.
WE can turn this into a morning tour opportunity; meet at the BBC at 9:00 am, leave at 9:30 for a coastal back roads tour up to Hull to arrive around 11:30 AM. As the tour plans evolve, maybe we can meet those club members not living on the Cape at the Carver BBC or in Plymouth and continue on as a group to Hull. I will post directions to the Garner’s for anyone who cannot join us on the drive to Hull. All LBCs are welcome.
Important: We need to know how many plan to attend this event. PLEASE register on the home page on-line or call Bill Scott 345 896 9313 or cell 248 892 2525 to register your attendance. Ron & Kathi have suggested a rain date of Sunday the 25th if weather is not in our favor on Saturday.
