It's here.  Time for another top down, freeze your butt off, kick ass FFFK event.

I ran the final route yesterday.  You know Rich and I complain to each other that they just don't build any new twisty roads any more.  This will mark the 14th event in 7 years that Rich and I have put on.  It's tough to find new asphault.  Well - we found some.  Don't miss it - best yet.  Roads that I've overlooked for years.

So, whatcha bringin to auction??  We need stuff, you know.  Let Rich or Rick know what you're planning for bring.  If somebody will pay a buck for it - we want it.  Let's do what we always do - make the Holiday Season for our friends at the Independence House very special.  You'll sleep well, knowing we did.  AND HAVE A FREAKING BALL DOING IT!!!

See ya Sunday at Mike and June's office.

    --RJ:

We just came in from the campaign trail to say we will be there on Sunday.  We are picking up signs this morning.  June's election was yesterday.  I'm looking forward to Sunday's run.  It looks like the weather will be there for us.  We can finally take some time to enjoy ourselves and some good friends.  It has been a while since the midget has been on a run.  Oh, and yes, June won her election.  So we can really kick up our heels big time on Sunday!  Put me down as bringing some cigars for the silent auction.

    Regards:

    Mr. June Daley

    Tks, Mike.

And congratulations to June.  I look forward to seeing you guys - and all the rest on Sunday.

We've also heard from Dave at Hemmings.  He can't make it this year, but has sent some auction items for us.  I hope to see them in the mail today or tomorrow.

One last note, before we hit the pavement Sunday - for a day of fun and certainly for a very needy cause.  We might not have the opportunity to do so without the sacrifice of our veterans - the brave Americans that laid their lives on the line for our freedom.  On this day of rememberance and recognition, our hats are off to you.  Our flag flies a little taller today.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

See ya Sunday.  BRING AUCTION STUFF!!!!

Hats off to Ric & Rich for putting together an awesome FFFK run today. The whole gang was there and it was great to see many new faces. Great roads as always, some new ones and always some hair raising corners.  Way too much fun in my LBC.

It was a good day and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. I'm sure we raised a bunch of coin with all those nice auction items and the generosity of our members.

A Thank You from the Independence House

    Hi Richard,

What a great surprise when I opened the large envelope that came in the
mail yesterday.  A formal "thank you"  will be sent out next week, but I
just had to let you know that we were all so overwhelmed by the generosity
of the British Car Club and your efforts to raise funds for our Holiday
    Helping program.

We have over 30 families signed up for our program and your gift cards and
check donation will go a long way in giving them an opportunity to shop
    for and enjoy the holidays.

Again, I am overwhelmed by your kindness and thank you soooo much,

    have a wonderful holiday,
    Chris Morin
